Chronopolis (film)

Chronopolis is a 1983 science fiction film directed by Polish animator Piotr Kamler with music composed by Luc Ferrari and narration by Michael Lonsdale. It was Kamler's first and only full length film. The film won "Best Children's Film" at Fantafestival in 1982 and "Critics' Award - Special Mention" at Fantasporto. The film was shown out of competition at the 1982 Cannes Film Festival.

Chronopolis (short story)

Chronopolis is a science fiction short story by J.G. Ballard, first published in 1960. The story begins with a man on death row, Newman, and proceeds to examine his fascination with the concept of time in a world where clocks have been prohibited and are regulated by time police.

Chronopolis appears in an anthology edited by Andrew Goodwyn, Science Fiction Stories.
