Chroniosuchus

Chroniosuchus is an extinct genus of chroniosuchid reptiliomorph from upper Permian (upper Tatarian age) deposits of Arkhangelsk, Orenburg and Vologda Regions, Russia. It was first named by Vjuschkov in 1957 and the type species is Chroniosuchus paradoxus. The genus Buzulukia, named in 1957 on the basis of osteoderms, is considered a synonym of Chroniosuchus.

Chroniosuchus had a length of about 1.5 m (4.92 feet).
