Choragus \Cho*ra"gus\, n.; pl. Choragi. [L., fr. Gr. ?, ?; ? chorus + ? to lead.] (Gr. Antiq.) A chorus leader; esp. one who provided at his own expense and under his own supervision one of the choruses for the musical contents at Athens.
