What is "chalica"

Chalica is a holiday celebrated by Unitarian Universalists during the month of December. It begins on the first Monday in December and lasts seven days. On each of the seven nights, a different principle of Unitarian Universalism is celebrated. On each night, a chalice is ignited and gifts may be exchanged.
