Baadshah ( translation: King) is a 1999 Bollywood action film film directed by Abbas-Mustan. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan opposite Twinkle Khanna in lead roles. It was released on 27 August 1999. Shahrukh Khan earned a Filmfare Award nomination for Best Performance in a Comic Role. It is inspired from films such as Nick of Time, Rush Hour, If Looks Could Kill, Mr Nice Guy, The Mask. Shahrukh Khan is also known as Baadshah of Bollywood, a name derived from this film.

Baadshah (2013 film)

Baadshah is a 2013 Telugu action-comedy thriller film directed by Sreenu Vaitla. The film was produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameswara Art Productions banner. It stars Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles and is their second film together after Brindavanam.

The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman and this is his second collaboration with Sreenu Vaitla. Cinematography was handled by Jayanan Vincent, R D Rajasekhar and K V Guhan. The film was released worldwide on 5 April 2013, receiving positive reviews from critics and recorded as "Super-Hit" at the box-office. and was premiered at the Osaka Asian Film Festival 2014 held in Japan. The film was also dubbed into Hindi under the title Rowdy Baadshah by Goldmines TeleFilms. Baadshah released in 1550 Screens worldwide with 1200 Prints. Later this movie was dubbed into Malayalam under the same name.

Baadshah is the feature film soundtrack of the 2013 Telugu film of the same name starring Jr. NTR & Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles directed by Srinu Vaitla. The soundtrack consists of 6 Tracks all composed by S. Thaman with Ramajogayya Sastry penning 3 of them and Krishna Chaitanya, Viswa, Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar penning each. The Soundtrack Album was released by Aditya Music on 17 March 2013 which coincided with a heavy yet catastrophic promotional event held at Ramanaidu Studios which is located at Nanakramguda of Hyderabad on the same day. The audio received positive response from the critics as well as audience.
