Crow \Crow\, n. [AS. cr[=a]we a crow (in sense 1); akin to D. kraai, G. kr[aum]he; cf. Icel. kr[=a]ka crow. So named from its cry, from AS. cr[=a]wan to crow. See Crow, v. i. ]

  1. (Zo["o]l.) A bird, usually black, of the genus Corvus, having a strong conical beak, with projecting bristles. It has a harsh, croaking note. See Caw.

    Note: The common crow of Europe, or carrion crow, is Corvus corone. The common American crow is Corvus Americanus. See Carrion crow, and Illustr., under Carrion.

  2. A bar of iron with a beak, crook, or claw; a bar of iron used as a lever; a crowbar.

As the Crow Flies is a novel by Jeffrey Archer. The novel was originally published in hardback by HarperCollins in May 1991. HarperCollins and Random House both published paperback version of this book in 1992.

As the Crow Flies (play)

As the Crow Flies is a 1986 play by American playwright David Henry Hwang. The play depicts an African-American maid living in a Chinese home in Los Angeles and her double life. The play premiered at the Los Angeles Theatre Center on February 16, 1986 on a double bill with Hwang's The Sound of a Voice. It was directed by Reza Abdoh and featured Nobu McCarthy in the cast.

It is published as part of Between Worlds: Contemporary Asian-American Plays by Theatre Communications Group.

As the Crow Flies (comics)

"As the Crow Flies" is a comic book story arc that ran through the Batman monthly series. It was written by Judd Winick, penciled by Dustin Nguyen and inked by Richard Friend. It was published in episodes 626 - 630 of the series, and printed in its entirety in a single comic book recompilation in 2004. It was developed as a single self-contained storyline instead of being part of a larger saga, aiming mainly to casual or lapsed readers instead of collectors.

As the Crow Flies (album)

As The Crow Flies is the third album by Jon Brooks, under the pseudonym of The Advisory Circle. It was preceded by the album Other Channels. The album was released on 8 July 2011 on the Ghost Box Music label.
