Amplified (Q-Tip album)

Amplified is the debut solo album of American hip hop artist Q-Tip, released November 30, 1999, on Arista Records. The album was recorded following the dissolution of Q-Tip's former group, A Tribe Called Quest. Production was primarily handled by Q-Tip and J Dilla, who had previously produced for A Tribe Called Quest. Q-Tip's lyrics throughout the album feature boasts, playful seduction raps, and abstract lyricism.

The album debuted at number 28 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 89,000 copies in its first week. On January 5, 2000, it was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, for shipments of 500,000 copies in the United States. As of July 2008, Amplified has sold 675,000 copies in the U.S.

Amplified (Mock Orange album)

Amplified is Mock Orange's fifth album, released in Japan in September 2000 through EMI. It consists of five songs each from two of their albums The Record Play and Nines & Sixes.

Amplified (band)

Amplified is a rock band consisting of three young boys from Hong Kong. While from Hong Kong, they are primarily known in Japan. They were discovered through Sony Music Japan's International Audition, and signed to the Sony subsidiary DefSTAR Records. Their debut single, " Mr. Raindrop" was used as the second ending theme for the anime Gintama. Their debut album, Turn It Up!, was released on 2 August 2006. Their second album, titled Sesh the Sweet Sounds, was released on 25 July 2007. The new lead track is named "Elevator". The music video was shot entirely inside a set of elevators in Tokyo.

Amplified was the opening act for part of Ellegarden's 2007 tour of Japan.
