Alphalipothrixvirus
Alphalipothrixvirus is a genus of viruses in the order Ligamenvirales, in the family Lipothrixviridae. The thermophilic archaebacterium Thermoproteus tenax serves as natural host. There are currently only one species in this genus: the type species Thermoproteus tenax virus 1.
