Absolutely is a British comedy sketch show.
The cast and crew are mainly Scottish; the principal writers and performers are Moray Hunter, Jack Docherty, Peter Baikie, Gordon Kennedy (all of whom had performed together as The Bodgers for many years), Morwenna Banks ( English) and John Sparkes ( Welsh).
The original television series, produced by Absolutely Productions, aired on Channel 4 for four series between May 1989 and February 1993. Following an award-winning reunion special for BBC Radio 4, the show returned for a new four-part radio series in September 2015.

Absolutely is the 1980 second album from the British ska band Madness. The album reached number 2 in the UK album charts.
Absolutely spawned some of the band's biggest hits, most notably " Baggy Trousers", which peaked at number 3 in the UK singles chart. " Embarrassment" reached number 4 in the charts, and the instrumental song " The Return of the Los Palmas 7" climbed to number 7. Although the album reviews were generally less enthusiastic than those of One Step Beyond..., they were mostly positive. Robert Christgau gave the album a favourable B- grade, but Rolling Stone awarded the album just one out of five stars. Rolling Stone was particularly scathing of the ska revival in general, stating that " The Specials wasn't very good" and Madness were simply " the Blues Brothers with English accents".
In 2009 and 2010, Madness re-released their entire back catalogue of studio albums until 1999's Wonderful with a bonus CD and extra tracks. The re-release of Absolutely has seven bonus tracks plus an additional CD featuring a 1980 concert recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon.
Absolutely is a comprehensive greatest hits package released in 1990 by the band ABC. This covered all the eras up until 1990, and had all their singles together. A video package featuring their promos was also released. One new song called " The Look of Love (1990 Remix)", was also released to promote it, but not with approval of the band. Other remixes were included on this compilation, including "When Smokey Sings (The Miami Mix)", "Be Near Me (Munich Disco Mix)" and "One Better World" (Pickering-Park Mix).
