With his strength it wouldn’t take much for the boy to injure Matthews seriously, without even trying.

Besides, while he believed the young man wasn’t dangerous Matthews had learned that premature diagnoses can be very risky.

And while Matthews’s words might have driven someone else to act ruthlessly and efficiently it drove Joshua manically forward toward Matthews, out of control.
