Žabljak ( Montenegrin Cyrillic: Жабљак, ) is a small town in northern Montenegro. It has a population of 1,937.

Žabljak is the seat of Žabljak Municipality (2003 population: 4,204). The town is in the centre of the Durmitor mountain region and with an altitude of 1,456 metres, it is the highest situated town on the Balkans.

Žabljak is river in Western Bosnia, and flows through Livanjsko Polje near Livno in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It joins Bistrica (Livanjsko Polje) and Sturba (Livanjsko Polje). They together make Plovuća river that sinks below Dinara mountain.
