Yerraicheruvu is a village located in Iragavaram mandal of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India. Yerraicheruvu got its name from a tree on the bund of the village tank.. Yerra Ravi Cheruvu.. once upon a time the village tank (Cheruvu) contains a tree ( Yerra (Red) Ravi chettu ) on its bund. that's how it got its name. Although it is a village, the streets look like a small town. the village lost its Village culture and adopted new trends/ Modern culture. This Village having three hamlets scattered in three corners of the Main Tank. North side of the tank is " Pedda Palem"(main Yerraicheruvu), the northern part is Velupuru palem (as it lies on the way heading Velupuru village), and on southern side is Kavalipuram palem (facing Kavalipuram village).
It is located at a distance of 427 km from State headquarters Hyderabad, 85 km from district headquarters Eluru, 7 km from Taluqa/Constituency headquarters Tanuku and 1.5 km from mandal headquarters Iragavaram.
