Yahalom ( Hebrew language: יהל"ם - יחידה הנדסית למשימות מיוחדות) is joint special combat engineering unit of the Israeli Engineering Corps of the Israel Defense Forces. The name "Yahalom" ( Diamond in Hebrew) is an abbreviation of "Special Operations Engineering Unit".
Yahalom specializes in special engineering missions that include:
- Commando and Counter-Terrorism missions.
- Accurate demolitions and planting of pinpoint explosives.
- Defusing and disposal of bombs, landmines and unexploded ordnance ( Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD)).

Yahalom is an authentication and secure key-sharing protocol designed for use on an insecure network such as the Internet. Yahalom uses a trusted arbitrator to distribute a shared key between two people. This protocol can be considered as an improved version of Wide Mouth Frog protocol (with additional protection against man-in-the-middle attack), but less secure than Needham-Schroeder.
