What is "xpect"

Xpect aka Peter Kerre is a DJ and Record producer based in New York, United States born to Kenyan Parents. He is known for his works for the album In Common with Alicia Keys. He is one of the first Dj's from Africa to spin on urban radio in the US. Xpect topped the poll conducted by Alicia Keys' husband Swizz Beatz to fans asking which version was the best, beating out Kenny Dope, Fellow African DJ/Producer Black Coffee, and producer Lil Silva from the UK. He has created a subgenre of music called AfroElectronic, composed of traditional afro music elements and electronic dance music elements.
