xkoto, Inc. is a privately held developer of database load balancing software headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

With its patent pending technology, GRIDSCALE Database Load Balancer load balances all database servers in the cluster using an active/active arrangement - they are available and active all the time. xkoto Inc. has been expanding its business and recently closed an investment of US $7.5 Million in Series B Financing. It was also recently awarded the Deloitte 2007 "Companies-to-Watch" award.

xkoto was acquired by Teradata on May 12, 2010.
