What is "xkakaltun"

Xkakaltun (Mayan name) is a local plant found in Campeche and Yucatán states in Southern Mexico along with other parts in the world, dubbed as honey plant (Barrera M. et al. 1976, 263*), it is used with medicinal purposes for local physicians and it has many particular uses for in medicine.
