From everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

(Bot.) A plant whose flowers may be dried without losing their form or color, as, the pearly everlasting ( Anaphalis margaritacea), the immortelle ( Xeranthemum anuum) of the French, the cudweeds, etc.
