The station is operated as a translator of Telemundo owned-and-operated station WNEU ( Merrimack, New Hampshire, which is owned by NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, subsidiary of NBCUniversal) because WNEU's broadcasting radius does not reach Boston.
The station has a construction permit to broadcast a digital signal on channel 46, and is currently operating in analog on channel 46 pending construction of this facility.
