WSAU (AM)

WSAU (550 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format serving Wausau, Wisconsin, USA area, and simulcasted on WSAU-FM 99.9 in Stevens Point ( licensed to Rudolph). The station is owned by Midwest Communications and features two local morning talk shows as well as local news and updates from Fox News Radio at the top of every hour.

The station carries talk shows from Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Savage, as well as Coast to Coast AM. WSAU is also the local outlet of Green Bay Packers football, Milwaukee Brewers baseball, and Wisconsin Badgers football play-by-play.

WSAU radio towers are located along County Highway X in Kronenwetter, Wisconsin. In September 2009, WSAU began simulcasting WSAU-FM 99.9 in Rudolph, Wisconsin (near Stevens Point).
