WRKQ (1250 AM) is an American radio station broadcasting a News Talk format. Licensed to Madisonville, Tennessee, USA, the station is currently owned by Storm Front Communications, LLC. WRKQ is a CBS News radio affiliate. 1250 WRKQ is the Authority for Monroe County Tennessee. The Goal of the station is to hyper-serve the local community. WRKQ has installed a 24-hour weather radar system and can track storm systems whenever and wherever. WRKQ's duty is to educate, entertain, and inform. With two local talk shows Rick and Company 6 to 9 am every weekday morning and Nick and the Drive Home 4 to 6 pm every weekday evening. WRKQ also is a carrier of national syndicated talk shows including Dana Loesche, Mike Gallgher, Chad Benson, Jim Bohanon, and John Grayson.
