WOXO (AM)

WOXO (1450 AM) is a radio station licensed to serve South Paris, Maine. The station is owned by Gleason Radio Group and licensed to Mountain Valley Broadcasting, Inc. Inc. The station also simulcasts on AM 780 WTME and carries Portland Pirates hockey and Portland Sea Dogs baseball. It airs a News/Talk/ Christian format and simulcasts co-owned WEZR when not carrying talk shows.

The station was assigned the WKTQ call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on January 15, 1986, and changed to the current WOXO call sign on August 1, 2016. The station previously carried the WOXO call letters from 1981 to 1986, simulcasting co-owned WOXO-FM, and was top 40 as WXIV.
