Worrell is a privately owned international company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota and offices in Shanghai, China. Enveloping the entire process, Worrell is a product design, strategy, research and development firm also specializing in packaging and branding.

Customer Base

Worrell has designed many brands, logos and products that consumers may recognize, such as Honeywell thermostats, Bobcat logo, Jacuzzi tubs, Tyrell’s Zeno and HP and Epson products. Their work ranges anywhere from designing and developing flight simulators, medical devices, consumer electronics and cell phones to packaging for Yoplait yogurt. Their client base includes companies such as Qualcomm, Amtrak, Epson, HP, Best Buy, Starbucks, Honeywell, Johnson and Johnson, Imation, Guidant and Boston Scientific.

History

Worrell was founded in 1976 by Bob and Judy Worrell. With work noted in Time magazine for best in design, Worrell created brands still used today such as the Bobcat logo and brand in 1978. Originally Worrell Design, they broadened their services to include all aspects of creating a marketable product and became Worrell as it is today in 2001. Worrell became an international company when they opened their Shanghai office in 2007.

Worrell Philanthropy

Since 2006, Worrell has designed free of charge for Filmaid International– an international non-profit humanitarian organization that uses the power of film to educate and improve health and self-esteem of refugees within camps. Teaching filmmaking skills, and providing entertainment to refugee camps breaks monotony and isolation of refugee life and reduces conflict and tension.
