Workpop is an online job marketplace for hourly and shift based work. It was founded in February 2014 by Reed Shaffner, Chris Ovitz (son of entertainment executive Michael Ovitz), Jay Yu, and Ben Berman. The company's mission is to "Empower everyone to find a job they love." The site has been built on the Meteor platform.
