Workflowy

Workflowy is a simple web-based text-based list and project management application created by Mike Turitzin and Jesse Patel in 2010. The app operates on a freemium business model and was reviwed positively in 2013 by PC World alongside similar apps such as Checkvist and Oak Outliner, who described its interface as "elegant" and "uncluttered."

Mike Turitzin and Jesse Patel created Workflowy at a Y Combinator startup camp. The idea for Workflowy came from "Patel’s work at a nonprofit, 'a job that was really overwhelming, where I had to manage a bunch of moving parts for 30 different projects.'"
