Winston is an American brand of cigarette. It is owned and marketed by ITG Brands LLC. (A subsidiary of Imperial Tobacco Company) inside the U.S. and by Japan Tobacco outside the U.S.

Winston is a Canadian indie pop band from Vancouver founded in 2002 by singer-songwriter Ryan Hauschild. Although it is now essentially his solo project, the band previously comprised Hauschild on vocals, guitars and piano; guitarist Lanny Hussey; drummer Robbie Watkins; and bass guitarist Tony Kerr. The band won CFOX Radio's Vancouver Seeds band contest of 2003. That year, The Province (28 December 2003) named them as one of the top-ten local acts of the year. They toured Canada in 2004 to promote their full-length release, Passengers.

Hauschild, as Winston, is now signed to Aquarius Records. His solo debut, Limited, released in 2007, was made without the use of any digital devices at all, not even a digital guitar tuner. He toured Western Canada as opening act for Emm Gryner in June 2007.

Hauschild has also worked as record producer for bands such as Vancouver group Jake Jasmine.

The band took their name from the main character of George Orwell's classic novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Winston is an English cultivar of domesticated apple which was first named Winter King because of its availability in the winter, but was renamed as Winston in 1944 or in 1945, after Winston Churchill.

It was developed in Berkshire, England, United Kingdom by crossing the Cox's Orange Pippin with a Worcester Pearmain to get the optimum positive traits from both parents. This was actually what happened, it received the high eating qualities with which the Cox's is notable: a firm white flesh which is also juicy, a little sharp in taste, but well balanced with sweetness and aroma. From the Worcester it took the best part of its horticultural adventures: easy to grow, reliable crop and resistant to many diseases.

In appearance, it is usually conical in shape, medium-sized, a greenish background flushed with lots of bold red. It is one of the few apple cultivars that are self-fertile, meaning that it can set fruits with its own pollen, and doesn't necessarily need the outcross pollination.

Winston is one of the more prominent characters used by Blizzard in Overwatch media outside of the video game; the character made an appearance in the game's cinematic trailer and is the focus of an animated short released by Blizzard.

The character is a genetically engineered gorilla that was part of a larger group of genetically engineered gorillas that was used by the in-universe Horizon Lunar Colony to test the effects of prolonged habitation in space.
