WBAT (1400 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a talk radio format. Licensed to Marion, Indiana, USA, the station serves the Muncie-Marion area. The station is currently owned by Hoosier AM/FM LLC, formerly Mid-America Radio Group, Inc. and features programming from CBS Radio, ESPN Radio and Westwood One. The station also carries Chicago Cubs baseball.
Its transmitter is currently located at Miller Ave. near General Motors Marion Stamping Plant.
The station features a mostly syndicated line-up, but mornings are live, with Good Morning Grant County from 6-10 AM featuring Tim George, Jim Brunner (Sports on WCJC WMRI), Ed Breen, and Ed Thurman (Also AM news on WXXC WCJC).
