What is "wasmannia"

Wasmannia is a genus of ants that are social, native to tropical habitats, and haplodiploid, with the reproductive castes ( queens and drones) haploid, and the worker caste diploid. Wasmannia auropunctata is known as the electric ant or little fire ant and are considered by many countries to be a destructive, highly invasive species.
