War Zone (Angel)

"War Zone" is episode 20 of season 1 in the television show Angel. Written by Gary Campbell and directed by David Straiton, it was originally broadcast on May 9, 2000 on the WB network. In War Zone, Angel helps software millionaire David Nabbit track down a blackmailer, ending up in the middle of a gang war between a group of street kids - led by amateur vampire hunter Charles Gunn - and a vampire gang who have settled in his South-Central neighborhood. Angel offers to assist Gunn in tracking down the vampires who abducted and killed Gunn's sister.

War Zone (album)

War Zone is the second album from Hip Hop group Black Moon, which was released almost six years after its influential debut Enta Da Stage. The group began a lengthy legal battle with Nervous Records in 1995 over the licensing of their name, which finally settled soon before the release of War Zone. Though many of the albums released from the Boot Camp Clik family between 1997 and 1999 received mediocre reviews, War Zone garnered some strong acclaim and moderate sales. The album features the singles "Two Turntables & a Mic", "War Zone" and "This Is What It Sounds Like [Worldwind]".

MC 5ft, who only appeared on three tracks on its debut Enta Da Stage, makes the most appearances of his career here, dropping verses on six songs.

Da Beatminerz production crew crafts a different sound for War Zone then that heard on Enta Da Stage, lacing the tracks with a futuristic, lo-fi sound. War Zone is a now-defunct West coast rap supergroup consisting of Goldie Loc, MC Eiht, and Kam. They made their debut on Snoop Dogg's Tha Blue Carpet Treatment; after being unable to find them deals as separate artists, Snoop Dogg suggested they become a group, and started production on their album.1 According to Goldie Loc, the group has recorded about 13 tracks for a debut album. However, after time passed without finding a distribution deal, the group's various members parted to work on separate projects.
