Wamda (Arabic: ومضة, meaning "spark") is a platform of integrated programs that aims to accelerate entrepreneurship ecosystems throughout the Middle East and North Africa ( MENA) region. Its core focus includes media, community development, research, as well as corporate and government advisory services. Founded in 2010 by The Abraaj Group, Fadi Ghandour and Habib Haddad Wamda grew in the past few years to become the leading community and knowledge platform for entrepreneurs and supporting stakeholders.
