Wałbrzych

Wałbrzych (former German name: Waldenburg; Lower Silesian: Walmbrig or Walmbrich; or Valdenburk) is a city in Lower Silesian Voivodeship in south-western Poland, with 120,197 inhabitants (31 December 2010). From 1975–1998 it was the capital of Wałbrzych Voivodeship; it is now the seat of Wałbrzych County. Wałbrzych lies approximately southwest of the voivodeship capital Wrocław and about from the Czech border.

Wałbrzych (parliamentary constituency)

Wałbrzych is a Polish parliamentary constituency in the Lower Silesian Voivodeship. It elects eight members of the Sejm and two members of the Senate.

The district has the number '2' and is named after the city of Wałbrzych. It includes the counties of Dzierżoniów, Kłodzko, Świdnica, Wałbrzych, and Ząbkowice Śląskie.
