What is "wagah"

n. A border city of Punjab, between Pakistan and India, it is the only road connecting the two countries internationally.

Wagah ( Punjabi (Gurmukhi): ਵਾਹਗਾ, , ) is a village situated near a road border crossing, goods transit terminal and a railway station between Pakistan and India, and lies on the Grand Trunk Road between the cities of Amritsar, Punjab, India, and Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

The border is located from Lahore and from Amritsar. It is also from the bordering village of Attari.

Wagah is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action romance film written and directed by G. N. R. Kumaravelan. The film features Vikram Prabhu and Ranya Rao in the leading roles, while D. Imman composes the soundtrack. After beginning pre-production in November 2013, the film released in August 2016.
