VUSE (electronic cigarette)

VUSE Digital Vapor Cigarette is an electronic cigarette owned by R. J. Reynolds Vapor Company, a subsidiary of Reynolds American. It is currently the most popular electronic cigarette with 33% market share.

VUSE underwent national expansion in 2013 with sales moving into Colorado. Plaintiff Jerod Harris, filed a lawsuit against VUSE for "[failure] to inform customers of the potential health risks incurred by using the products, specifically, inhalation of the carcinogens formaldehyde and acetaldehyde".

Vuse e-cigarettes has consolidated all production to their Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Vuse is now available in more than 100,000 retail locations. The brand began by offering consumers two flavors, tobacco and menthol, but have since added additional flavors. In terms of nicotine content, RJ Reynolds does not indicate the nicotine content on the packaging. The nicotine content is 4.8% and that is a very high content for a vapor product. The 4.8% nicotine content is the only option currently offered.
