What is "volaticotheria"

Volaticotheria (also known as Volaticotheriidae, Volaticotheriinae or Volaticotherini) is a clade of eutriconodont mammals. It is thought to include the taxa Volaticotherium ( type genus), Argentoconodon, Ichthyoconodon, Jugulator and Triconolestes.

Since most remains are primarily teeth, they are foremostly diagnosticated by their highly distinctive molars. However, species with post-cranial remains indicate that these were some of the most divergent and specialised of all Mesozoic mammals, possessing adaptations for gliding or flight.
