Vizianagaram is a city and district headquarters of Vizianagaram district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is a municipal corporation and also the mandal headquarters of Vizianagaram mandal. It is located 18 km inland from the Bay of Bengal and 42 km to the northeast of Visakhapatnam.
Vizianagaram Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 25 Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Parliament) constituencies in Andhra Pradesh state in southern India. This constituency came into existence in 2008, following the implementation of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies based on the recommendations of the Delimitation Commission of India constituted in 2002.
