Vivarail
Vivarail is a privately funded British rolling stock manufacturer, founded in 2012 and based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. The company is chaired by former Chiltern Railways chairman Adrian Shooter. Vivarail's main project is the conversion of bodyshells, bogies and motors from retired London Underground D78 Stock into a new diesel-electric multiple unit, the D-train.
