What is "ving"

Ving may refer to:

• Ving (beverage), vodka mix drink made with Jamaican Ting grapefruit soda
• Ving Rhames (born 1959), American actor
• Ving'hawe, administrative ward in the Mpwapwa district of the Dodoma Region of Tanzania
• Lee Ving (born Lee James Capalero in 1949), lead singer of the 1980s punk band Fear
• Star-ving, web series of eight to ten minutes episodes surrounding the life of David Faustino from Married with Children

Ving is a vodka mix drink made from Ting (a Jamaican grapefruit soda) and citrus vodka. The drink consists of approximately 1 part Smirnoff Citrus Vodka and 2 parts Ting, able to be mixed in any amounts.

Though Ting and vodka mixes have been around for years 1, the name ving originated in Medford, Massachusetts at Tufts University.

There are also other varieties of drinks that can be made by mixing Ting and other forms of alcohol:
