Vidyasagar (Jain monk)

Acharya Shri Vidyasagarji Maharaj ( Kannada:ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಾಗರ, Nagari:आचार्यश्री विद्यासागरजी महाराज) is one of the best known modern Jain Acharya. He is known both for his scholarship and tapasya. Despite of being in a modern age, he is known for his hard austerity and long hours in meditation.

Vidyasagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency)

Vidyasagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) was an assembly constituency in Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal.

As a consequence of the orders of the Delimitation Commission, Vidyasagar (Vidhan Sabha constituency) ceases to exist from 2011.

It was part of Calcutta North East (Lok Sabha constituency).

Vidyasagar (composer)

Vidyasagar is an Indian composer, musician and singer who works predominantly in the Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Hindi film industries. After working with several composers as assistant and conductor, Vidyasagar made his debut as a film composer in the 1989 Tamil film Poomanam. Working for over 250 feature films, he is the recipient of the prestigious National Award and five Filmfare Awards.
