Vidyadhara

Vidyadhara(s) ( Sanskrit , literally "wisdom-holders") are a group of supernatural beings in Indian religions who possess magical powers. In Hinduism, they also attend Shiva, who lives in the Himalayas. They are considered as Upadevas, semi-gods. Vidyadharas appear in Buddhist sources as well.

Vidyadhara (Chandela king)

Vidyadhara (c. 1003-1035) was a ruler of the Chandela dynasty of central India. He ruled in the Jejakabhukti region ( Bundelkhand in present-day Madhya Pradesh). Vidyadhara was the successor of Ganda, and expanded the Chandela Dynasty between Chambal river in the northwest and Narmada River in south.
