Veretillum \Ver`e*til"lum\, n. [L., dim. of veretrum the private parts.] (Zo["o]l.) Any one of numerous species of club-shaped, compound Alcyonaria belonging to Veretillum and allied genera, of the tribe Pennatulacea. The whole colony can move about as if it were a simple animal.
