Vallonia
Vallonia is a genus of small air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Valloniidae.
Vallonia is the type genus of the family Valloniidae.
Vallonia (mythology)
In Roman mythology, Vallonia was the goddess of valleys (cf. Latin vallis "valley"). Her name is known from St. Augustine's work The City of God, and is not attested otherwise.
