''' Valat ''' is a village in Wayanad district in the state of Kerala, India.It is the village situated near to kannur district.Govt.HSS is the only Higher Secondary school in the village.Most of people are in the field of agriculture. Kabani river(one of the river in Kerala going towards East) is a main attraction of this village.
