Vaduj
Vaduj is a well known town in Satara district, Maharashtra, India. It is a headquarter of Khatav taluka of Satara district. It is located on bank of the Yerala river, around away from its district center Satara and from Pune. It comes under Pune division of Maharashtra. Its biggest town in khatav taluka with highest population around 35000. According to 2011 population census, it has literacy rate more than 86% which comes greater than average national literacy rate. Recently, it has got converted its status into Nagarpanchayat by New rule of state Government.
