What is "vaccinated"

Vaccinate \Vac"ci*nate\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Vaccinated; p. pr. & vb. n. Vaccinating.] [See Vaccine.] To inoculate with the cowpox by means of a virus, called vaccine, taken either directly or indirectly from cows.
