The UTZ (file format), format used by Symbian OS devices to store user interface themes. A UTZ file is a ZIP file container consisting of one XML file describing the user interface layout and a collection of resources like PNG graphics and mp3 sounds.

Utz (novel)

Utz is a novel written by the British author Bruce Chatwin, first published in 1988. The novel follows the fortunes of Kaspar Utz who lives in Czechoslovakia during the Cold War. Utz is a collector of Meissen porcelain and finds a way to travel outside the eastern bloc to acquire new pieces. Whilst in the West, Utz often considers defecting but he would be unable to take his collection with him and so, a prisoner of his collection, he is unable to leave.

Utz (film)

Utz is a 1992 dramatic film directed by George Sluizer, produced by John Goldschmidt and starring Brenda Fricker, Peter Riegert and Armin Mueller-Stahl. Mueller-Stahl won the Silver Bear for Best Actor at the 42nd Berlin International Film Festival.

The film is based on the 1988 novel Utz by Bruce Chatwin, who also co-wrote the screenplay.
