Usbegs \Us"begs\, Usbeks \Us"beks\, n. pl. (Ethnol.) A Turkish tribe which about the close of the 15th century conquered, and settled in, that part of Asia now called Turkestan. [Written also Uzbecks, and Uzbeks.]
