Urelumab

Urelumab (ue rel' ue mab; also known as BMS-663513 and anti-4-1BB antibody) is a fully human IgG4 monoclonal antibody developed by Bristol-Myers Squibb for the treatment of cancer and solid tumors.

Urelumab targets the CD137 receptor. It specifically binds to and activates CD137-expressing immune cells, stimulating an immune response, in particular a cytotoxic T cell response, against tumor cells.

A phase I clinical trial in advanced colorectal cancer and head and neck cancer is due to run until Jan 2017.
