Unis is a Canadian French-language Category A specialty channel that features programming focusing on Canadian Francophonie, in particular those living outside of Quebec, the country's largest and only officially uni-lingual French-speaking province. However, in addition, the channel broadcasts general entertainment from Canada and international markets.

The channel shares a broadcasting licence with its sister channel, TV5 Québec Canada (TV5), which focuses on international French-speaking programming.
