Ulavuthurai is a 1998 Tamil crime film directed by Ramesh Selvan. The film features Vijayakanth in lead roles. The film, produced by Vijay Prabhakaran, had musical score by newcomer Shah and was released on 14 January 1998. The film was Vijayakanth's 125th film and became a superhit.
