Udgir
Udgir is a city with a municipal council in Latur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is located in the Marathwada division of the state (one of the divisions of Maharashtra state based on geographical conditions). It is also the headquarters for the Udgir subdivision and Udgir Taluka. It is the center point where the people of two states Telangana and Karnataka comes to weekly market.It is located very near the Karnataka border. The town is famous for its agricultural production, education and the historical Udgir Fort.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is the strongest party in the Udgir Assembly constituency.
