Uchhaith is a village in Madhubani District, Bihar, India. There is a temple of the Goddess Durga (uchhaith bhagvati ) in this village. According to history, the poet Kālidāsa was blessed with all knowledge by Durga, She was impressed by his devotion and dedication.
